Join us for a foundational webinar on Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD), presented by the Fetal Alcohol Resource Program (FARP) at ABLE2: Support for People with Disabilities. This session will equip educators, service providers, caregivers, and community professionals with essential knowledge about FASD—what it is, how it affects individuals, and how the FARP team can provide meaningful support.

ABLE2’s Fetal Alcohol Resource Program (FARP), in partnership with CHEO, provides education, advocacy, and support for individuals with Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder (FASD) and their families. Through personalized consultations, system navigation, community presentations, and group support, FARP works to increase awareness, reduce stigma, and empower those living with FASD and their families to build lives of meaning and joy.

The FASD Symposium is Eastern Canada’s largest annual gathering of everyone connected to the FASD community. This one-day interactive, educational event, with content available in English and French, attracts 400+ people each year. Our theme for 2023 was ‘It is Time to Change". A day that will bring together advocates and researchers and creative ideas about effecting change in systems, identifying existing gaps and suggesting actions we need to take to support people (and their caregivers) in the FASD community.
