GROW: Canada Pension Plan Disability: What You Need to Know

Join ABLE2 for an introductory webinar on the Canada Pension Plan (CPP) Disability Benefit as part of our GROW Financial Literacy Series. This session will provide essential information about what the CPP Disability Benefit is, who it is for, what it provides, and how to apply.

The Canada Pension Plan Disability Benefit is a monthly payment available to individuals who have contributed to the Canada Pension Plan and are unable to work due to a severe and prolonged disability.

The sessions will be hosted by ABLE2 and delivered by a Service Canada Community Outreach and Liaison Service Outreach Worker, who will provide a general overview of the benefit and the application process.

Please note: This presentation is intended as a general information session. Personal or case-specific questions will not be addressed.

Dates: April 1, 2026, 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. EST (delivered in French) and April 8, 2026, 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. EST (delivered in English) via Zoom

If space allows, professional supports may also be permitted to attend.

As this is an introductory presentation, no background knowledge is required.

The Community Outreach and Liaison Service works directly in the community to provide information about programs delivered by Service Canada and how to access them. These programs include the Canada Disability Benefit, Social Insurance Number (SIN) services, and other federal supports.
