You are invited to ABLE2’s Annual Picnic!

Join us for some games, food, friends, and fun in the sun on August 16, Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Andrew Haydon Park!

Register to confirm your attendance and purchase meal tickets for delicious buffet-style barbecue hot dogs and hamburgers prepared by Fitz’s Classic Grill BBQ Smoke House (gluten-free and vegetarian options are available). Tickets are $15/person. Limited spaces available, get your orders in before July 31st.  

Whimble personal care attendants will be onsite to help with personal care, feeding, and other accessibility needs. Parking available onsite. Close to public transit and accessible by ParaTranspo.

  • If driving West on Carling, turn right at the lights Andrew Haydon Park, 3127 Carling Ave at Holly Acres. Then make an immediate left.
  • If driving East on Carling, turn left at the lights Andrew Haydon Park, 3127 Carling Ave at Holly Acres. Then make an immediate left.
  • If driving North on Holly Acres, cross Carling Ave at the lights, drive straight into the Andrew Haydon Park, 3127 Carling Ave. Then make an immediate left.
  • ParaTranspo: a ParaTranspo pickup and drop-off spot can be found at the gazebo (large A on the map below). Please instruct ParaTranspo to use the Carling and Holly Acres entrance.

FASD Symposium

The FASD Symposium is Eastern Canada’s largest annual gathering of everyone connected to the FASD community. This one-day interactive, educational event, with content available in English and French, attracts 400+ people each year. Our theme for 2023 was ‘It is Time to Change". A day that will bring together advocates and researchers and creative ideas about effecting change in systems, identifying existing gaps and suggesting actions we need to take to support people (and their caregivers) in the FASD community.
