Parmi cette population, <strong>41 % peuvent travailler s\u2019ils ont acc\u00e8s \u00e0 un march\u00e9 du travail pleinement inclusif.<\/strong> (<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www150.statcan.gc.ca\/n1\/pub\/89-654-x\/89-654-x2024001-fra.htm\">Enqu\u00eate canadienne sur l&rsquo;incapacit\u00e9 2017<\/a><\/strong>) Malgr\u00e9 les progr\u00e8s, cette disparit\u00e9 r\u00e9v\u00e8le qu&rsquo;il existe encore des obstacles importants. Il reste encore beaucoup \u00e0 faire pour int\u00e9grer pleinement les personnes handicap\u00e9es dans notre soci\u00e9t\u00e9, notamment en mati\u00e8re d&rsquo;\u00e9galit\u00e9 d&rsquo;acc\u00e8s aux opportunit\u00e9s d&#8217;emploi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Octobre est le Mois national de sensibilisation \u00e0 l&#8217;emploi des personnes handicap\u00e9es<\/strong>, l&rsquo;occasion de c\u00e9l\u00e9brer les contributions inestimables des personnes handicap\u00e9es sur le march\u00e9 du travail, mais aussi de continuer \u00e0 faire campagne en faveur de pratiques d&#8217;emploi inclusives. En tant que directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale d&rsquo;ABLE2 : Soutien aux personnes handicap\u00e9es, je suis fi\u00e8re de souligner notre fort engagement \u00e0 favoriser un milieu de travail inclusif et accessible qui refl\u00e8te notre vision&nbsp;; une communaut\u00e9 inclusive o\u00f9 tous sont consid\u00e9r\u00e9s comme capables, importants et valoris\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Chez ABLE2, nous \u00e9liminons activement les obstacles \u00e0 l&#8217;emploi gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 un lieu de travail qui favorise l&rsquo;accessibilit\u00e9 et la diversit\u00e9. Notre bureau est \u00e9quip\u00e9 de mobilier de bureau adaptatif, d&rsquo;outils sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s et de technologies pour r\u00e9pondre aux divers besoins de nos employ\u00e9s. Nous proposons des horaires de travail flexibles et une configuration de travail hybride, garantissant que chaque employ\u00e9 b\u00e9n\u00e9ficie du soutien dont il a besoin pour s&rsquo;\u00e9panouir. <strong>Il ne s\u2019agit pas seulement d\u2019h\u00e9bergements ; ce sont des strat\u00e9gies int\u00e9grales qui permettent \u00e0 notre personnel d&rsquo;\u00eatre des leaders efficaces et productifs dans l&rsquo;autonomisation des personnes handicap\u00e9es dans nos communaut\u00e9s.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Mais l\u2019inclusivit\u00e9 ne s\u2019arr\u00eate pas \u00e0 la porte du bureau. Une formation continue est offerte \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9quipe, au conseil d&rsquo;administration et aux b\u00e9n\u00e9voles pour reconna\u00eetre la valeur des diverses perspectives. Notre Comit\u00e9 consultatif des consommateurs (CAC), compos\u00e9 de personnes ayant une exp\u00e9rience v\u00e9cue, travaille en \u00e9troite collaboration avec notre conseil d&rsquo;administration pour garantir que les meilleurs int\u00e9r\u00eats des personnes handicap\u00e9es sont bien repr\u00e9sent\u00e9s dans le d\u00e9veloppement et la mise en \u0153uvre des programmes d&rsquo;ABLE2. Nous avons int\u00e9gr\u00e9 les principes de diversit\u00e9, d&rsquo;\u00e9quit\u00e9, d&rsquo;inclusion et d&rsquo;appartenance (DEIB) dans nos politiques et proc\u00e9dures, garantissant que toutes les personnes impliqu\u00e9es dans ABLE2 sont align\u00e9es sur ces valeurs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Nous examinons et mettons continuellement \u00e0 jour nos plans et politiques d\u2019accessibilit\u00e9 pour rester efficaces et pertinents par rapport aux nouvelles r\u00e9glementations et meilleures pratiques. Gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 ces initiatives, nous d\u00e9mantelons les id\u00e9es fausses sur le handicap et l&#8217;emploi, prouvant que <strong>l&rsquo;inclusion ne profite pas seulement aux employ\u00e9s handicap\u00e9s, mais qu&rsquo;elle renforce l&rsquo;ensemble de l&rsquo;organisation.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">En ce mois de sensibilisation \u00e0 l\u2019emploi des personnes handicap\u00e9es, j\u2019exhorte les dirigeants d\u2019entreprises et d\u2019agences \u00e0 \u00e9valuer de mani\u00e8re critique leur propre lieu de travail. <strong>Posez-vous la question&nbsp;: en faites-vous suffisamment pour garantir que les besoins de chacun sont pris en compte&nbsp;?<\/strong> J&rsquo;encourage \u00e9galement les employ\u00e9s \u00e0 tous les niveaux \u00e0 continuer de d\u00e9fendre leurs int\u00e9r\u00eats et ceux de leurs coll\u00e8gues en d\u00e9non\u00e7ant les pratiques injustes ou exclusives. Nous avons tous un r\u00f4le \u00e0 jouer pour garantir que chacun, y compris les personnes handicap\u00e9es, ait des chances \u00e9gales de contribuer et de s&rsquo;\u00e9panouir sur le march\u00e9 du travail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Enfin, continuons \u00e0 faire de l\u2019inclusivit\u00e9 la norme.
