ABLE2 is offering a series of virtual workshops to help people with disabilities learn about and participate in fun activities.
Are you considering applying to Algonquin College? Looking for information about disability-related supports at a post-secondary level? If so, please join Algonquin College’s Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL) for a presentation and Q&A session. We will be discussing accommodations for admissions testing, how to register with CAL, and supports available to students with disabilities. This information session is for ABLE2 clients.
The Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL) provides academic accommodations and educational support services to thousands of students each year who have documented visible and non-visible disabilities. The services are free of charge, confidential, and available to both registered students and students going through the admissions process.
Taylor Meissner, MSW, RSW is a Student Support Officer at the Centre for Accessible Learning. Her role at CAL is to support incoming students in obtaining disability documentation and assessments. She also facilitates outreach presentations and administratively supports the CAL team.
