Sibling Groups Information Session

17 Jan, 2022

Having a brother or sister who is living with a disability can be fun and challenging for children and teens. Our therapeutic groups offer the chance to: meet other children/teens who understand, share experiences, get information, do some fun activities and learn about different disabilities.

Participants, between the ages of 6 and 17 years, will be grouped by age in four different groups.

The groups meet once a month and are led by trained and experience Program Facilitators.

To hear more about this program join us virtually on January 17th at 6 pm for the Sibling Group Information Session.  This will be an opportunity to ask questions and learn about the impacts of the support groups.

This one-day interactive, educational event, with content available in English and French, attracts 400+ people each year. Our theme for 2023 is ‘It is Time to Change". A day that will bring together advocates and researchers and creative ideas about effecting change in systems, identifying existing gaps and suggesting actions we need to take to support people (and their caregivers) in the FASD community.
